Greetings! My name's Artika and I'm just a typical Singaporean teenager. I will be turning 18 this October 23rd and attending Ngee Ann's School of Health Sciences (Nursing) this April. People say I'm sensitive, insecure and hard to be with. I say there's more to a person than just a third party's judgement.

Hello

I have to admit that I wasn't looking forward to Vietnam at first. We were supposed to go to Australia and we all felt devastated when the trip was cancelled. And then this year, we were expecting to go to the same place but on the day of one of my N level papers, Miss Wong approached me and asked if I wanted to got to Vietnam instead. So jyeah, I was excited.But I was just hoping that we would be going to Aussie :[ Well, I don't wanna sound unappreciative here. Vietnam's fine and I bet I'm gonna have a helluva fun there ^^ Tho I can't buy any souvenirs for anyone. Hehe, sorry friends!

The briefing for this whole trip reminded me how sad I was when I wasn't chosen to go to Jogjakarta last year. And just so you know, all my friends were chosen. Yes, pretty upsetting isn't it? I had to bear with them talking about the fun they'll be having for a few weeks. I was crying inside and I was hoping that they would stop and realize how I was left out I was feeling. And then I was chosen to go to Aussie but in the end, both trips were cancelled. Wtf.

And now with my friends forced to be stuck here, I just wished that I can squeeze them all into my luggage and bring them along with me ^^ And I feel awful that my parents aren't very keen on me buying things for them. Hmmm, never mind lah ya. Photos will do. Wakaka!

Anywho, today has been a looong day. I woke up early today and my family and I headed off to the CSC Club at Bukit Batok. Bought a sandwich (aka breakfast) and then went swimming. Long story short, it was fun. Sissy & I went down the slide a few times and we swam at the pool where there's v strong current flowing in one direction. We felt so lethargic and hungry after that so we headed to idk where for lunch. And then to Turf City to buy some stuffs and then it was home.

Again, I had a 2 hour nap (Huahua!). Bathed and had salmon & Baked potato. Golly, it seems like forever since we are at home. After that we watched Robocop & Narnia: Prince Caspian and taa daa, here I am!

I'm going for a brisk walk with Zulaikha tomorrow. Pray nothing bad happens to us jyeah. Night night! :D
